A Bit About Me

My name is Amanda Burbidge, I have lived in Somerset & Dorset for over 40 years.
Being part of a rural village, town, and county community has given me the opportunity to work with individuals and groups from all backgrounds.  I have been privileged to work with a vast array of emotional, physical, and biological issues affecting an individual’s daily life.


Working within a safe, secure, comfortable and easily accessible private practice aids my ability to provide opportunities for individuals to make sense of their issue to recover their sense of self.

My Fees

It is extremely important for prospective clients to feel they have made an informed choice in regard to which therapist they would like to work with, and to this end, I offer a free of charge initial brief telephone consultation.  This enables clients to ask questions and share a little of their difficulty, once this is undertaken, the client decides if they feel ready to engage in a therapeutic relationship.

I provide face to face, online (Skype, WhatsApp video, Starleaf), e-mail and telephone counselling.

Per therapeutic hour:

​

  • Individual Counselling     £50.00

  • Under investigation/arrested     £60.00    

  • Reports for Court From    £100.00

​

EAP (Employee Assistance Services) are also available, please call to discuss contract and prices.
