A Bit About Me

My name is Emma and I have lived in this area for a little while now I am passionate about the beautiful places around the area, they give me a sense of joy and freeness. I am also deeply passionate about the connections I have with my rescue animals I smile every day.

Life can be a struggle and having gone through the counselling process myself I appreciate how looking for help can be a daunting prospect, I can offer a confidential, safe, and non-judgemental space for you to be heard. Counselling is a journey and it takes time and consistency to be effective that’s why I offer a free telephone initial consultation which allows us to chat and gives you the opportunity to bring any queries about counselling before making a decision.

Although the core of my practice is humanistic and client-led and  I believe that the client/therapist relationship is at the heart of the healing process, as an integrative counsellor I  have a combined approach that brings together different elements of specific therapies so each person is treated an individual.
Counselling is for anyone if it feels right for you. Perhaps you are feeling sad, anxious, depressed, or even confused. I have experience working with people who are experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, stress, loneliness, loss/bereavement, family issues, eating disorders, sexual abuse, self-harm, trauma, addictions, and identity.
